LOKI CRAFTERNOONS: ORIGAMI OMEGA STARS
March 28 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join us for a fun, productive Crafternoon at Loki Edgbaston, sipping on Loki’s amazing selection of wines whilst learning how to make beautiful Origami Omega Stars! Omega Stars are Modular Origami pieces, which means that they are constructed with multiple pieces of paper, and then assembled to create the finished product. Omega Stars are made with 6 pieces of paper, and are surprisingly simple to make, yet the finished piece looks quite complex (the dream craft project! easy to make, but looks like it requires years of Shaolin Monk type discipline!) Also, perfect for picking up whilst indulging in all the treats Loki Wine have to offer!
They look wonderful on their own (they make lovely mantle piece decorations), in a variety of sizes, or can be strung together as bunting, made into baubles, or you could even make tiny ones and make earrings or necklaces! We will explore the various uses for these stars during the workshop.
This workshop is perfect for beginners; even if you’ve never folded a piece of paper before, you’ll be guided through step by step, and we guarantee you’ll be an Origami Omega Star master by the end of the afternoon. If all else fails, you’ll at least leave feeling all the merrier!
Tickets are £20 and this includes all materials, a glass of Prosecco and nibbles. Everyone will be guided through the process and assisted throughout the afternoon, and you will also leave with full written and illustrated instructions, and several brand new, Origami Omega Stars hand crafted by YOU!
This workshop is hosted by Loki Wine GM Victoria, check out her Origami on Instagram
Tickets are non refundable.
