Join us for a unique evening of spirit tasting, celebrating the diverse and vibrant creations of The West Midlands Distillery. Hosted by the famous Carl Hawkins (known to everyone at The Gintleman), this event offers the opportunity to savour a selection of locally crafted spirits, showcasing the exceptional quality and creativity of our region’s distillers.
The West Midlands Distillery are a family of distillers, perfecting their craft over three generations. From their base at The West Midlands Distillery, they craft a variety of multi-award-winning spirits and liqueurs, including rum, gin, vodka, and whisky (2024). Using the finest responsibly sourced ingredients and botanicals from around the world, along with a selection grown in their own distillery garden, they handcraft premium bespoke spirits.
In addition to creating their own range of brands, they also produce over 50 custom bespoke spirits for various clients, including brand owners, retailers, restaurants, hotels, and pub companies. And, owning the title of The Distillery of the Year second year in a row, they sure have a great following.
By joining us, you’ll not only indulge in expertly crafted drinks but also support a local producer committed to maintaining the West Midlands’ growing reputation for high-quality, small-batch spirits.
With Carl’s extensive knowledge of distillation, botanicals, and mixology, he will guide you through a fun and informative tasting experience. Whether you’re a gin lover, a rum enthusiast, or just curious to explore, The Gintleman promises an evening full of insight and flavour.
