PORTUGUESE WINE TASTING WITH SYMINGTON FAMILY ESTATES
June 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm£25.00
Portugal is one of the most exciting countries for wine at the moment, they seem to have a perfect combination on experience over centuries of making wine, as well as being able to offer typically Old World wines at some of the most reasonable prices, certainly for most of Europe. This is why we feel that Portugal are the country to watch at the moment, and their value from entry level up to some top wines are unparalleled.
We invite the legendary Symington Family Estates back to host another tasting where they are going to show how their long experience in the Port Trade, where they own famous houses such as Graham’s Dow’s and Warre’s, give them the perfect basis to make outstanding table wines. Don’t worry Port lovers we will still be showing a couple of Ports as well, but the idea of this tasting is to show you the incredible quality of the non-fortified wines, and show you what you have been missing if you don’t drink these wines regularly. We have Joao from Symington family flying in to Birmingham on the 11th to come to host this tasting for us, and his wealth of knowledge about Portuguese wines and Port are second to none.
When: Tuesday 11th June at 6pm
Where: Loki Wines Great Western Arcade
