Rosé Wine Tasting
April 20 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm£35.00
Join us at Loki for a light-hearted exploration of the world of Rose wines.
The growth in popularity of rose wine over the past few years has been staggering with the category growing at 58% in the USA last year alone (2017 figures). Much of this growth is due to the increasing popularity of the pale and delicate Provencal style of rose.
National headlines were made by one French producer releasing their newly created prestige rose cuvee ‘Garrus’ at almost $100 dollars – a new world record.
This two hour tasting will aim to show just how good these wines can be, both as stand-alone wines but also to accompany food. As such the tasting will include a small food and rose wine matching section.
The tasting will include 7 wines from around the globe and include: dry, off-dry, and sparkling and frizzante.
We will maintain Loki’s laid back and fun approach to wine and conclude with a taste of possibly the best Rose in the world ‘Garrus’ – by Chateau d’Esclans.

Time: 12:30 – 14:30
