UNDISCOVERED ITALY WINE TASTING
June 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm£20.00
Italy now makes the largest volume of wine per year and makes wine in every region however large or small. The availability in the UK market can be quite limited, and people end up just drinking the “classics” Chianti, Barolo, Amarone.
With so much wine produced it can be tricky to take the plunge and try something new. We find with Italian wines there tends to be a language barrier that means customers tend to go for what they know rather than explore new wines. Luckily, we’ve done all the hard work for you and selected four of our best off-the-beaten-track Italian wines.
You can expect rare grape varieties, hidden gems and outrageous value in these wines. We want to showcase how Italian wines are the best match for food, so the tasting will also include a small food and wine matching element.
