Cheval des Andes is one of the the true greats of Argentinian wine, and has achieved some of the highest scores of any producer in the country.
This is a joint venture between the famous Saint Emilion estate Cheval Blanc, and Terrazas de los Andes in Argentina. In doing this they wanted to create a wine that had the touch of Bordeaux, because after all Malbec used to be a famous variety in Saint Emilion and Pomerol, and also the weight and power of the best Argentinian Malbec.
The result has led to what can only be described as one of the finest Argentinian wines ever produced, it is so rich, luscious and bold. But also absolutely remarkable and refined. Well worth a treat if you want to try the best.
