At Loki we love the summer, it gives us the opportunity to get out our wine honed beach bodies, and also crack in to some lighter refreshing styles of wine! In this case we have some of our favourite summertime picks including two wonderful rosé wines one from Rioja and the other one of only fourteen Cru Classe Provence rosé wineries.
On the white have a Cretan White, so even though you can’t go to the Mediterranean on holiday at the moment, you will be able to experience what is definitely our white wine summer find of the year, if you go through summer not having tried this beautiful soft, mineral and dry wine you have really missed out. The other white is a New Zealand Sauvignon from one of the great producers in New Zealand.
The red’s we have chosen two wines that are soft and delicate, and if the mercury does start jumping up will work well slightly chilled. Allegory Pinot Noir are an amazing Western Australian producers making delicious light fresh Pinot Noir, and then you have our summer red wine pick from Alentejo in Portugal, and it is a bright soft wine aged in Amphora, and as a bonus it comes in a Litre! Woo!
