Whispering Angel has fast become one of the most well-known Provencal rosé wines. Château d’Esclans was purchased in 2006 by Sacha Lichine who had the vision to try and generate a rosé renaissance. Through a series of winemaking innovations and pure determination we are now firmly familiar with this beautiful and pale style of rosé wine. The wine itself is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino) and produces a wonderfully light and aromatic wine bursting with wild strawberry and red cherry notes on the palate. This is arguably one of the benchmark bone dry rosés of the world and certainly one that that has given far greater exposure to the wines of Provence.
