Home to some of the world’s most celebrated châteaux and historic appellations, Bordeaux has built its reputation on wines of remarkable structure, elegance and longevity. This exclusive Fine Wine Bordeaux Tasting offers the opportunity to explore seven exceptional wines from across the region, with just 10 guests joining us for an intimate Friday evening experience.

The line-up has been carefully selected to showcase the extraordinary diversity of Bordeaux, travelling from the gravel soils of Pessac-Léognan through the great Left Bank appellations of Saint-Julien, Saint-Estèphe and Margaux, before crossing the Gironde to Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. The evening will conclude with the beautifully complex sweet wines of Sauternes.

Guided by one of Loki’s wine experts, you’ll explore how location, soil, grape variety, vintage and winemaking shape the individual character of each château. Compare the power and structure of Saint-Estèphe with the refinement of Margaux, discover the contrast between Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated Left Bank wines and the Merlot-led blends of the Right Bank, and experience a completely different expression of Bordeaux through its fine white and sweet wines.

  A distinguished white Bordeaux from one of Pessac-Léognan’s historic classified estates, combining freshness, texture and complexity. An elegant introduction to the evening and a reminder that Bordeaux’s fine-wine reputation extends far beyond its reds.
• Château Léoville Barton – Saint-Julien
  One of Saint-Julien’s celebrated classified growths, renowned for producing Cabernet-led wines with structure, precision and exceptional ageing potential. A classic expression of the elegance and restraint for which the appellation is known.
• Château Montrose – Saint-Estèphe
  A legendary estate producing powerful, deeply structured wines from its exceptional position overlooking the Gironde. Montrose is a benchmark for Saint-Estèphe, combining intensity and longevity with remarkable complexity.
• Château Rauzan-Ségla – Margaux
