Discover the many faces of Sauvignon Blanc — and the Loire’s rising reds — in this special evening with Olivier Rivain from Joseph Mellot.

The Loire Valley is the spiritual home of Sauvignon Blanc, producing some of the world’s most expressive and iconic examples of the grape. From the crisp, citrus-driven styles of Menetou-Salon to the smoky elegance of Pouilly-Fumé and the purity of Sancerre, the Loire showcases Sauvignon Blanc in all its diversity.

But the Loire is not only about Sauvignon Blanc. The Loire’s reds are some of the most exciting in France right now — vibrant, food-friendly, and offering outstanding value. Pinot Noir showing Burgundian finesse at a fraction of the price. Add to this the structure and spice of Cabernet Franc, and you have a region producing some of France’s most exciting reds!

Hosted by Olivier Rivain from Joseph Mellot — a family estate with over 500 years of winemaking heritage — this evening will guide you through Sauvignon Blanc in its many expressions, while also exploring why Loire reds are catching the world’s attention.
