Battle of the Palates: Wine Tasting Dinner at Harborne Kitchen

May 15 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Loki vs Harborne Kitchen.
Battle of the Palates: Wine Pairing Dinner at Harborne Kitchen

A five-course feast with a fun competitive twist.

Join us for a unique food and wine experience as two experts go head-to-head to win your palate. Each course will be paired with two wines—one selected by Harborne Kitchen’s Sommelier, Jacob Dolman, and the other by Phil Innes of Loki Wine. Throughout the evening, they’ll guide you through their pairings, explain their thinking, and invite you to vote for your favourite match.

Expect brilliant food, great wines, and a little friendly rivalry along the way. With only a limited number of seats available, it’s set to be a lively, flavour-packed evening not to miss.

  • Enjoy five courses prepared by the Harborne Kitchen team
  • Taste nine wines—two pairings for each course, plus a welcome drink
  • Hear from Jacob and Phil as they talk you through each pairing
  • Learn how chefs and sommeliers work together to create harmony (or contrast!) on the plate
  • Vote for your favourite pairing after each course
  • Try to guess which wine was chosen by which expert—there may be prizes involved
  • Experience the playful side of fine dining in a relaxed, social setting

Sample Menu

  • Food and wine lovers looking for something a little different
  • Anyone curious about how wine pairings are chosen — and how preferences can vary
  • Those who enjoy a bit of competition and conversation alongside their dinner
  • Fans of Harborne Kitchen’s cooking or Loki’s wine tastings
