Trimbach Riesling Réserve, Producer
Founded in 1626 and now in its 13th generation, Maison Trimbach is one of the most venerable wine estates in Alsace, based in Ribeauvillé. The family-run domaine has long been celebrated for its dry, elegant Rieslings that are built to age — wines defined by precision, structure and terroir.
Trimbach Riesling Réserve, Terroir & Winemaking
The Riesling Réserve is drawn from selected vineyards in the Ribeauvillé and Bergheim area, planted on limestone, marl and sandstone soils which impart depth, minerality and character. The wine is vinified in stainless steel vats, in a dry style, with no malolactic fermentation and minimal ageing on lees, preserving freshness, vibrant acidity and pure fruit expression.
Trimbach Riesling Réserve, Tasting Notes
This Riesling opens with lively aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers, and subtle stone-fruit notes. On the palate it is crisp yet full-bodied, with fine acidity and a firm mineral backbone leading to a long, saline-tinged finish.
Food Pairing Suggestion: Ideal with shellfish in a light sauce, grilled sea bream with lemon, or refined Asian-inspired dishes featuring coriander and lime.
