Wine Tasting

We are excited to welcome Anthony Symington from Symington Family Estates, based in Portugal’s Douro Valley. Known for their stewardship of iconic port houses like Graham’s, Dow’s, Warre’s, and Cockburn’s, the Symington family has crafted fine wines for generations. This tasting will feature a white and red wine from two estates, followed by a focus on Graham’s Port House. The evening’s highlights include tasting Graham’s Six Grapes from a Jeroboam and a special re-release of the 2003 Vintage Port, showcasing the family’s rich heritage and expertise.

Join us for an exclusive tasting with Frederico Bertani, who will share the story of Bertani, one of Italy’s most historic wineries. We’ll explore renowned wines like the Vintage Edition Secco, the region’s first dry wine, and the Soave Vintage, crafted for King George V’s wedding. A special highlight includes a rare vertical tasting of three Amarone Classico vintages, featuring the 100-point 2015, 2008, and 1994, showcasing the remarkable ageing potential of this iconic wine.

Jo Clarkson, a passionate collector of Australian wines for 15 years, will host the event, sharing his deep knowledge of Australia's wine regions and winemakers. Clarkson aims to highlight the underrated quality of premium Australian wines. The tasting will feature wines aged between 7 and 19 years, carefully selected for their prime drinking window. The event will offer an informal and enjoyable experience, with two whites, four reds, and three rare iconic wines from Australia's top producers.
