English sparkling wine has firmly established itself among the world’s finest, and few producers have done more to showcase its potential than Exton Park. Set within the chalk slopes of Hampshire’s South Downs, the estate is dedicated exclusively to producing estate-grown vintage sparkling wines that express both place and time. Join us for an exceptional evening hosted by Karl McCulloch, Brand Ambassador for Exton Park, as we explore one of England’s most acclaimed wineries and discover what makes its wines so distinctive.
Over two relaxed hours at Loki Edgbaston, you’ll taste six exceptional sparkling wines, from the acclaimed Reserve Blend collection to two outstanding late-release vintage wines. Throughout the evening, Karl will explain Exton Park’s pioneering approach to English sparkling wine, including its perpetual reserve system—a continually evolving reserve of previous vintages that brings remarkable depth, consistency and complexity to every Reserve Blend. You’ll also discover how the estate’s chalk soils, meticulous vineyard management and extended lees ageing combine to produce some of England’s most acclaimed sparkling wines.
The evening culminates with the newly released Exton Park Blanc de Blancs 2013. Aged for an exceptional 11 years on its lees before disgorgement, it has recently been awarded a Gold Medal at the WineGB Awards 2026 and represents one of the finest examples of English sparkling wine produced to date. It’s a rare opportunity to taste a wine that showcases just how far English sparkling wine has come.
