Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Millénaires is one of the finest Champagne’s on the market, they only release this in the best years, and have deemed it only good enough in three vintages over thirty years. Heidsieck has chosen the 2007 vintage as the seventh cuvée of Blanc des Millénaires and it is quite different from its predecessor – 2006.
Each cuvée will have a unique identity, made exclusively from outstanding Chardonnays from renowned terroirs that are extraordinary for their incomparable texture, aromatic complexity, and ability to mature.
Beautiful aromas of fresh citrus, yuzu and quince, and notes of toast and smoke add a layer of complexity to the wine. Acidity is sharp, adding good balance to the structure, and the finish is full-bodied and long.
The 2007 vintage is drinking perfectly now and over the next decade or two.
