It all started when Paul Jones, Jr., the man behind the Four Roses Bourbon, fell in love with a Southern belle’s beauty. According to legend, she responded to his proposal by promising to wear a bouquet of flowers on her gown at the approaching big dance if he asked her to marry him. On the night of the great event, Paul Jones eagerly awaited her response. She wore a corsage of four red roses and came in a stunning gown. He eventually gave his whiskey the name “Four Roses” as a nod to his intense devotion to the beautiful belle, which he then channelled into creating his cherished Four Roses Bourbon.
In this flawlessly balanced Small Batch Bourbon you may discover that blending Bourbons is an art form in and of itself. This very mellow and wonderfully balanced Bourbon is the result of their Master Distiller’s skilled selection of four original Bourbon recipes at the peak of maturity. Full of aromas and flavours of ripened red berries, dried spice, with hints of sweet oak and caramel.
It tastes best when sipped straight, on the rocks, or with just a dash of your preferred mixer. 90 proof. 40% by volume of alcohol.
