Luigi Bosca, one of the oldest family-run wineries in Argentina, has consistently been one of our best-selling wines at Loki since we were open. Celebrating 120 years of winemaking excellence, four generations of the Arizu family have tied together the past, present, and future. Their wines honour history and showcase the distinctive terroirs of Mendoza.
The vineyards, located in Luján de Cuyo, Maipú, and Valle de Uco, thrive at altitudes between 900 and 1,100 meters, giving each wine a unique character. With vines averaging 35 years old, these regions are renowned for producing high-quality grapes that reflect Mendoza’s diversity.
The Luigi Bosca Malbec uses a selection of their best grapes to produce a wine that is elegant as well as rich and bold. The wine is aged in oak barrels, where it goes through malolactic fermentation for 12 to 14 months. Before being released to the market, the bottles are stored in the cellar for a minimum of six months.
Luigi Bosca Malbec has a distinct fruity profile, sweetness on the palate, and the roundness that this varietal is known for. Along with its well-balanced floral and spicy undertones, this wine also has strong and delightful aromas of varietal typicity and notes of red fruits. Sweet tannins and a great fruity flavour linger on the palate, with a wide, expressive mouthfeel. Straightforward wine, with well-integrated oak from ageing in barrels, and a clear, lingering aftertaste.
Serve it between 16°C and 18°C.

It’s such a delightful wine, it feels rich but not too heavy. Highly recommend for anyone planning a cosy dinner in. Definitely worth trying if you like Malbec!
