Roebuck Estates Rosé de Noirs is a sophisticated and expressive traditional method English sparkling wine made exclusively from hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes. Crafted in limited quantities, it offers a beautifully layered palate, combining ripe red fruit with refined structure, elegance, and a savoury depth that sets it apart in the world of rosé fizz.
Roebuck Estate Rosé de Noirs, The Producer
Situated in the scenic countryside of West Sussex, near the charming market town of Petworth, Roebuck Estates was established by two friends united by a shared passion for exceptional wine. Their vision was clear: to produce world-class vintage sparkling wines year after year.
Determined to realise this ambition, they focused on cultivating the highest quality grapes from prime vineyard locations across England. In 2013, they acquired their first vineyard parcel in West Sussex, marking the beginning of Roebuck Estates.
The estate takes its name from the roe deer frequently seen roaming the surrounding landscape. With deep respect for the land, Roebuck Estates is committed to sustainable practices, striving – like the roe deer – to tread as lightly as possible on the environment.
Roebuck Estate Rosé de Noirs, Tasting Notes
The wine pours a pale salmon-pink hue with fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it bursts with aromas of wild strawberries, redcurrant, rhubarb, and a hint of spice. The palate is elegant yet structured, with flavours of crushed raspberry, citrus peel, and almond biscotti, supported by lively acidity and a savoury edge. The finish is long, clean, and mineral, offering both vibrancy and depth.
Roebuck Estates Rosé de Noirs is a superb example of English sparkling rosé with serious intent – perfect for those who appreciate complexity and poise in their fizz.
Food pairing suggestion: roasted duck breast.
