In order to continue producing high-quality wine, Sarah, who was recently named Winemaker of the Year 2017 by James Halliday, focuses on providing particular blocks and varieties the time and care they require.
This wine’s unique aroma is a combination of lifted bramble, redcurrant, and mixed berry fruits. Blueberries, mulberries, and cranberries are some examples of vibrant fruit flavours. Freshly cut box hedge adds a green lift, tannins, and clove spices that dance with lively acidity and a subtle fruit drive. The wine gains vigour and a crisp crunch from the Malbec. This is a beautifully approachable Cabernet blend thanks to the aromatics and easy fruit taste.
The wine’s been aged in only 5% new oak. This helps elevate the fruit on the palate and makes this wine ready to be enjoyed now.
