Join us for an exceptional evening at Loki Edgbaston with Emanuele Barrasso of Antinori, one of Italy’s most historic and influential wine families. This is a rare opportunity to explore a selection of wines from some of Antinori’s most celebrated estates, guided by a representative of a family whose name has become synonymous with Italian fine wine.

The Antinori family has been producing wine since 1385 and has played a pivotal role in shaping the reputation of Italian wine on the world stage. Across more than six centuries and 26 generations, Antinori has combined deep respect for tradition with a relentless pursuit of innovation, helping to establish many of Italy’s most iconic wine regions and styles.

This tasting will showcase two of Antinori’s most renowned winemaking territories. We begin in Umbria with Castello della Sala, the family’s historic estate near Orvieto, widely regarded as one of Italy’s finest producers of white wine. Here, cool vineyards, limestone soils, and meticulous viticulture create wines of elegance, freshness, and remarkable longevity.

The evening then moves to Tuscany, where Antinori’s prestigious estates produce some of Italy’s most sought-after red wines. From the coastal vineyards of Bolgheri to the historic hills of Chianti Classico, these estates have helped define modern Italian fine wine, culminating in one of the country’s most iconic labels, Tignanello.

This special tasting offers a unique opportunity to experience the breadth of Antinori’s portfolio, from elegant sparkling and mineral-driven whites to world-class Tuscan reds, while gaining insight into the philosophy, history, and innovation that have made Antinori a benchmark for excellence across Italy.
