Barbadillo Blanco, grown in the famous chalky albariza soil of the Marco de Jerez, is a clear example of the commitment to innovation and courage demonstrated by our two hundred year-old family business. Barbadillo Blanco is heir to the Castillo de San Diego that revolutionised the wine-growing region in 1975.
On the nose, this white wine presents with white floral notes, citrus blossoms, and hints of fresh herbs. It boasts a refreshing and vibrant flavour profile. On the palate, you’ll discover crisp green apple and zesty lemon, complemented by subtle mineral undertones that reflect the unique terroir of the Albariza vineyards. It offers a harmonious balance between fruitiness and a distinct mineral edge.
Barbadillo Blanco has a lively and well-structured texture, with a delightful acidity that imparts a refreshing and lingering finish.
Food Pairing Suggestion: enjoy as an aperitif, but it’s also a perfect companion to sushi.
