Cà dei Maghi, nestled in the hills of Valpolicella, is a boutique estate renowned for crafting exceptionally fine wines in limited quantities.
For their Recioto, the grapes are meticulously handpicked during the second week of October, then carefully dried for six months before fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a resting period of five years, initially in large oak barrels to impart subtle oak influences, and then again in stainless steel tanks until it’s ready for bottling.
This Recioto displays an intense red color with subtle garnet undertones.
Its aroma is equally intense and uniquely intricate, offering notes of red fruits, accompanied by nuances of sweet spices and delicate rose petals.
On the palate, it delivers a sweetness that is balanced and not overwhelming, with an admirable cherry finish that lingers gracefully on the palate, leaving a lasting impression of its exceptional quality.
