Dow’s Quinta do Bomfin Vintage Port is a premium fortified wine produced by Dow’s, one of the oldest and most respected Port houses in Portugal. This wine is made from grapes grown in the Quinta do Bomfim vineyard, which is located in the heart of the Douro Valley, one of the most famous wine regions in the world.
Dow’s is one of the legendary estates in Portugal, and for us their Bomfim is the most accessible single Quinta vintage Port, and offers a wonderful feminine note whilst also having the ability to age for a very long time.
This vintage Port is made from a blend of traditional Port grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca.
Dow’s Quinta do Bomfin Vintage Port is a deep, dark, and intense wine with aromas of ripe black fruit, plum, and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, rich, and complex, with flavours of blackberry, black cherry, and hints of spice and tobacco. The wine has a long and persistent finish, with well-integrated tannins and a touch of sweetness.
Dow’s Quinta do Bomfin Vintage Port has the potential to age for decades and can develop even more complexity and nuance over time.
Food pairing suggestion: Stilton.

Port and cheese night taken to a new level with this beauty… Great legs, complex aromas of jam, figs, cherries and blackberry, raisin and chocolate…. Thoroughly enjoyed alongside with a variety of cheese… goes particularly well with blue cheese….
