Hundred Hills is an English winery, located on the beautiful hills of Oxfordshire. The owners, husband and wife Stephen and Fiona Duckett, spent a considerable amount of time finding the perfect location, finally settling on the Stonor Valley, that won them over with its chalky soils and ancient forests.
Hundred Hills wines are crafted with a commitment to creating pure expressions of their vineyard, akin to the renowned Burgundies. They prioritize minimalistic winemaking techniques to allow the true essence of the grapes and terroir to shine through in each vintage. Their wines aim to capture the distinct characteristics of the vineyard and reflect the unique qualities of the growing season.
Hundred Hills Sparkling Rosé embodies the makers’ overarching philosophy of producing authentic and unadulterated wines that showcase the vineyard’s identity and the nuances of each vintage. This Rosé is crafted using limited quantities of intensely flavoured Pinot Noir from the Winery Bank Vineyard, combined with perfectly ripe Chardonnay sourced from the Meadow Woods Vineyard. This artisanal wine exemplifies a luscious and opulent rosé produced during an exceptional Pinot Noir vintage. It’s a remarkable sparkling wine with flavours and aromas of ripe fraises de bois, hibiscus, and raspberries.
Food pairing suggestion: Winemakers recommend this sparkling with lobster medallions, chicken quenelles, Périgord truffles and homemade semolina pasta.
