Ken Forrester, The Producer
As the “King of Chenin,” Ken Forrester has a deep understanding of the grape’s versatility. With Stained Glass, he set out to create a wine that emphasises freshness and clarity: like light shining through glass. Lower alcohol, cool fermentation and minimal intervention ensure that the fruit remains the star. This is Ken’s contemporary, style-driven Chenin: elegant, approachable and crafted for immediate pleasure.
About the 2023 Vintage
The 2023 vintage delivers notes of green apple, white peach, lime blossom and crushed stone. The palate is sleek and refreshing, with crisp acidity and a subtle saline twist. Lees stirring adds a gentle creaminess, but the overall profile remains bright and clean. A quintessential warm-weather Chenin with precision and poise.
