Terre dei Buth Brut: Fresh, Organic Prosecco with a Spring in Its Step

Terre dei Buth Brut is a lively organic Prosecco from Treviso, made for those moments when you want something bright, crisp and properly refreshing. It has all the charm you want from good Prosecco: fine bubbles, clean orchard fruit, a little floral lift and a brisk, citrusy finish. Easy to enjoy, but far from ordinary.

Terre dei Buth is a family-run winery in Mareno di Piave, in the heart of the Prosecco DOC region. Now managed by the third-generation Marion family, the estate is fully organic and vegan, with a strong focus on sustainability, biodiversity and careful vineyard work. Their approach is simple and rather lovely: healthy soils, healthy grapes and wines that show freshness and purity without unnecessary fuss.

This Brut is made using the Charmat, or Martinotti, method, where the second fermentation takes place in pressurised tanks. For Prosecco, this helps protect the bright fruit, fresh aromatics and crisp acidity that make the style so appealing. The vineyards sit in the Treviso area of Veneto, where the local Glera grape can ripen with plenty of aromatic lift while keeping its natural freshness.

In the glass, Terre dei Buth Brut is pale straw-yellow with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is full of green apple, pear, lemon peel and white peach, with delicate acacia blossom and a subtle chalky note. On the palate, it is crisp, clean and refreshing, with more apple and pear, a zip of lemon zest and a gentle almond-skin edge. Dry, bright and very drinkable, it finishes brisk and lightly mineral.

Terre dei Buth Food Pairing Suggestion:

Try it with light vegetable tempura and citrus-herb aioli. The wine’s fresh citrus character and fine bubbles cut beautifully through the delicate crunch of the batter, while its orchard fruit and floral notes work nicely with the sweetness of the vegetables. It would also be lovely with seafood nibbles, goat’s cheese crostini, antipasti or a simple plate of salty snacks before dinner.
