Sebastián, the family’s third generation, is currently is leading a young group of agricultural engineers and enologists who are responsible for creating the highest rated wines in the Uco Valley.
Sebastián Zuccardi was raised in a household that valued innovation and vision. His grandpa began planting the first hectares of vines in Maip, Mendoza, in 1963, and the Zuccardi family has continued to expand and advance ever since. It has risen to the top of the Argentine wine industry. Sebastián received the drive and will to continually pursue perfection from his father, José Alberto Zuccardi.
Since 2008, the winery has had a research and development section thanks to his efforts, which is dedicated to researching the terroir and the various factors that influence wine quality.
The Los Olivos Malbec is smooth and fruity with aromas of blackberry, plums, cherry and a touch white pepper. It is produced from carefully chosen parcels in the Uco Valley. The finish has a wonderful roundness from a little ageing in French oak.
Food pairing suggestion: Roasted beef sirloin and potatoes dauphinoise.
