Unlike many rosé Champagnes, Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir. The grapes are selected from some of the best crus in the Montagne de Reims, giving the wine its clear red fruit character and beautifully defined structure. It is also made using the maceration method, where the Pinot Noir skins stay in contact with the juice for a short time. This gives the Champagne its vivid colour, expressive aroma and deeper red fruit profile.
On the nose, expect a lovely burst of freshly picked strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants and a little cherry. On the palate, it is dry, fresh and elegant, with fine bubbles and plenty of bright berry fruit. There is a lovely balance between intensity and delicacy, which is exactly why this Champagne has such a strong reputation. It feels generous without being heavy, polished without being boring, and celebratory without needing an excuse.
